Light up your brand with Foozi
9 April 2010

Foozi’s latest advertising and marketing offering will ensure countless excitement for its advertisers and players. The new, limited-edition foosball tables come complete with rechargeable internal lights, transforming a normal Foozi table into a floodlit football field.

According to Damon Freeman, Chief Negotiator, Marketer and Overall Nice Guy of Foozi Gaming, the lights offer unique benefits to advertisers, as they light up the foosball playing field and internal advertising areas.

“The illumination on the side of the Foozi tables really boosts the advertising and company branding in dark areas of the table, ensuring even further brand exposure,” he says.

The new technology means that Foozi foosball can now be enjoyed in any indoor environment, no matter how dark. “What’s more, the lights run off batteries and are fully rechargeable,” adds Freeman.

Foozi only has 40 of the limited-edition tables available for rentals in May, June and July. “Advertisers hoping to secure this ultimate media platform need to book their tables in April to secure them for the soccer fever in June and July,” says Freeman.

Foozi donates branded table to Balfour House
15 January 2010

Foozi recently donated a Foozi table to Balfour House, an orphanage in Durban. The table was branded with personal messages, logos and quotes sent in from Foozi Fans around the world. According to Damon Freeman, the Chief Negotiator, Marketer and Overall Nice Guy of Foozi Gaming, Balfour House's existing foosball table was falling apart.

Late last year, a request from the home was received by the United States Table Soccer Federation and Jim Waterman of www.foosball.com, and was passed on to Foozi to assist.

The message from the home was clear: "I have a family of six orphans who love to play foosball. Their current foosball table is falling apart and I would love to be able to provide them with a new one for Christmas. Funds at the moment are very short and it is not an option for us to purchase one."

"Foozi was able to put together a really awesome table that will bring a lot of joy to the children who enjoy playing this fast growing sport," says Freeman.

Foozi trial boosts sales
20 January 2010

Recently, Foozi strategically placed Klippies and Cola branded Foozi tables in two taverns in Pretoria for two months. The aim was to determine what, if any, increase there would be in the brand's sales.

"We purposefully selected two venues that hardly sold any Klippies and Cola units, as we knew that the difference in sales, if any, would be more accurate as an influence from the Foozi tables as opposed to just seasonal or cyclical differences," explains Freeman.

Before the Foozi tables were placed inside the venues, each tavern sold, on average, three units of Klippies and Cola per week. Since the branded foosball tables have been on site, both venues have seen a dramatic increase in sales to an average of 60 units per week.

"The results speak for themselves. Clearly, when it comes to purchasing decisions on site, branded Foozi tables make a massive difference. They get the advertiser's message across in an environment where consumers have enough time to absorb the message," adds Freeman.

Foozi's top five foosball table designs for 2009
10 January 2010

Having held numerous design competitions during 2009, and producing a number of its own rental and promotional designs as well, Foozi put it to the vote to determine which five Foozi designs stood out from all of the rest.

Damon Freeman, Chief Negotiator, Marketer and Overall Nice Guy of Foozi Gaming says, "We received some awesome designs from clients to brand Foozi tables in 2009, and some less than awesome ones! With all of these branded tables floating around, we decided to showcase the top five, as voted for by us."

"With only a few months to go, and Foozi production needing to take place soon, it will be interesting to see how corporates choose to brand their Foozi tables leading up to the Fifa World Cup," adds Freeman.
